Once we got to the Paradise Valley Orchard we found most of the pumpkins picked already....guess that is what you get for being lazy in October. Anyway the man there was really nice and gave us a wagon for our pumpkin finds and said there were still some good ones out there.
So off we went! Sophie loved the wagon, she insisted on sitting in it and refused to get out when it was time to put the pumpkins in. She kept telling the pumpkins to, "get out!!"
Here's Sophie trying to pull the wagon when she failed at trying to get them out. She doesn't look like such a happy camper does she?....
Finally daddy came to the resuce and started pulling the wagon which she ran to catch up with so that she could help pull.
After we got to the car she was having a great time...too bad it was time to go home. She did not want to put the pumpkins in the car, she wanted to pull them in the wagon. Then she realized that once the pumpkins were out she could get in. Needless to say it was a power struggle the whole time, thank goodness for Tyler and his help!
Once we got home she was a happy girl and helped unload the pumpkins and would talk to them. "Mommy punkin, Daddy punkin, baby punkin...." and then proceeded to blow kisses to them. She was also excited to learn that soon we would be putting faces on them. "Faces on punkins!" and so ends our "punkin" patch saga.
