This year for Easter we packed up the van and headed to my parents house in Elko. The girls were very excited to see there grandpa Kraig and grandma Cheryl! We spent the weekend playing, Easter egg hunting, and laughing.
On Saturday we went to one of the Easter egg hunts and the girls had a blast! It made me sad though because this year the girls were in different age groups, so Tyler went with Sophie and I helped Zoe. They both made a haul, which was surprising because there was so many kids.
Here are the girls excitedly awaiting the countdown to go.
Sophie being silly, as usual.
After the hunt! Don't they look so excited to rip into those eggs.
Ahh, I love this picture! My baby is getting too big...make me want to put a book on her head or something, maybe that will keep her small! After the egg hunt we went back to my mom's house to color Easter Eggs. It was quite the whirlwind event. I think it took the girls and there younger cousin, Cardon, like five minutes to get all the eggs colored.
Here they are coloring away. And that is my sister standing on the chair in the background and I have no clue why she is up there...very odd....
Easter morning the girls got up and were so excited to see that the Easter Bunny had found them. They made a candy haul....so not my fault, the candy just kept jumping in the cart! Plus they got some cute sandals for church and of course bubbles!
Here they are enjoying their breakfast before church...they don't look too hyped up on candy! Funny story, my mom actually bought a cute little table for the three girls to eat at but on the first morning. The girls are setting there eating breakfast and my dad comes out is a scary Halloween mask (don't ask me what possessed him, you just have to know my dad!). Well Zoe turned around and got a panicky look on her face. She never sat at the table again and wasn't too fond of grandpa the rest of the time either.
All in all it was a fun weekend though, sorry it took me so long to post!
