For the 4th we decided to drive out to Stockton and spend the day with Tyler's family. We started with the parade in Tooele. It was fun and hot with Sophie and her cousins racing for the candy thrown by those in the parade. Well Sophie didn't really run she just accepted what was thrown at her feet and put it in the chair Aunt Natalie brought for her. Her cousin Josie was also very nice about giving her some candy every now and then.
Here is Sophie anxiously awaiting the start of the parade.
Sophie ended up getting a lollipop and wouldn't let go of it to save her life. She was very content to lick it and watch everyone else watch the parade, i.e her back was to the parade practically the whole time.

After we went to John and Debbie's for a BBQ. We ate till our hearts content and then attempted a family photo (adults only) and a kid only picture also.
When our tummies were full we ventured back to grandma and grandpa's house for a 4th of July Festivous, Rydalch Style! Some of the games included: Soda ring toss, fishing, catching live gold fish, bean bag throwing, and a balloon toss. We even did some face painting!

We had a wonderful 4th of July and made it home safely and tired!

Yea! Welcome to the blogging world! Wade and I have really enjoyed it. Sophie is so darling and you look fantastic, Heather! Wade told me to put that Tyler is still a hottie just like always! ;) Those boys are so funny! I'm glad we'll be able to keep in touch better this way. Talk to you soon!
