Lily's 6 Months

 6 months...how the time flies!  Here are some fun facts about Lily:

She learned to roll from her back to her tummy.  Now we can't keep her from rolling everywhere!  She also now prefers to sleep on her tummy.  She also loves to have her back rubbed.  

Lily LOVES her sisters, and well they LOVE her too!  If she could get up and run around with them she would be the happiest girl in the universe.  She tries to get their attention by screaming very loudly.  When they start talking to her she showers them with smiles and giggles.

She looks annoyed in this picture but that is just because I was trying to get her to look at the camera. 

Lily can almost sit unsupported for longer that a few seconds.  Sitting is one of her more preferred positions as it allows her to easily see what's going on around her.

One of her new quirks is head banging.  She does it when she is lying on her tummy.  I think she thinks it will give her the momentum to move forward.  It is really funny and cute to watch.

She enjoys eating avocados, carrots and pears.  Applesauce and bananas aren't high on her list of favorites. She is still sucking those fingers and thumb which consequently means that she has given up the binkie.  It is more of a toy now.  Speaking of toys, this girl has a ball that she adores, but man can she throw that thing far.  So be warned, if she has her favorite blue ball in her hands be on the look out for it to go whizzing by your head.  

Lately our dinner conversations with the girls have been heavily carried on by Lily.  She loves to hear herself talk, especially during dinner when we are all talking about our day.  As she sits in her jumper, she bounces wildly and babbles at the top of her lungs.  Guess she just wants to tell us about her day! 

We went yesterday and got our family pictures done.  Lily, who is quite the ham, posed perfectly for her 5 minutes of all about me time!
