My Extremely Late Christmas Post

Wow, it is the middle of February and I am just barely getting around to blogging about Christmas. I think that is pretty pathetic!! I need to be a little bit better about updating this blog regularly. Anyway....

Our Christmas was wonderful! The girls were so excited for Santa, Sophie especially, she was very excited to leave Santa some milk and cookies and even some snacks for the reindeer. In fact the first thing she went to Christmas morning was Santa's empty plate of cookies. "Look, Zoe, Santa ate all the cookies!!" The excitement and wonder on her face was priceless.

The girls got spoiled as usual! Here are a few picture of our Christmas morning.

Sophie with her Barbie "castle" toy from Santa. And those giant red and brown things behind her are the "bean" bags I made for them (they don't have any beans in them just A LOT of stuffing). They have now become permanent fixtures in the living room, from jumping off the couch onto them to snuggling up to watch cartoons!

Zoe and her Minnie, that Grandpa Danny and Grandma Cindy got her. Can you tell she loves it? It sleeps with her every night.

This is the first picture of the morning, going through their stockings to see what Santa brought.

The rest of our day was filled with family visiting us, and lots of relaxing and playing with toys. My mom and dad came for the day and the girls had lots of fun showing them everything Santa brought them.
We had a great Christmas and wonderful New Year. We celebrated my birthday, squished between those two holidays by going out to see the new Narnia movie, in a snow storm, luckily we only went to the theater in town! and then, Tyler's sister Jamie took us to Sostanza, a new restaurant here in Tooele. It was quite the experience. Good food, weird chairs (they were way to cushy and leaned back so far that I would have needed multiple pillows behind my back to even get up to the table. But it was a really fun experience and night out with my hubby and Sister-in-law!
