On Friday night we helped my parents set up a youth dance and then went home and had pizza. Sophie was a lucky girl and the rest of us very unlucky when she stayed up until 10 p.m. Which by the way is way to late for a toddler! The next morning we headed to Spring Creek (over the mountain from Elko) for the Easter Egg Hunt. The first one we found was in the parking lot of a grocery store. Weird and very odd....so we ventured to what they called the Marina (a little pond and park with a ton of ducks and geese). Here they had a wonderful egg hunt and even the Easter Bunny was there. Sophie had so much fun! It was funny to see the kids SWARM the grass and leave nothing in their wake!
Later that day we colored eggs and Sophie succeeded in dying her hands a lovely shade of pink...well it looked more like brown when she got finished. Sunday we went to church and Sophie was so sad that she didn't get to go to nursery....it was really cute and I am so glad that she loves nursery! Then we had a lovely dinner of ham and funeral potatoes. Then we headed out for our long journey home. Thanks to Sophie sleeping we actually made it to the Tooele exit before we had to stop to potty and nurse Zoe.
Our Easter was so much fun and we all are extremely exhausted from it! Hope all had a wonderful Easter!
